Demar's Story - Chapter 1The whole Chrysindile Clan was not of royalty. You could tell who was of royal blood and who was not by how they looked; it was like this in all clans. Demonwirks of royal blood were larger, and had more ‘stature’. All royal families had different stature, different bodily frames. The royalty in Chrysindile were tall and fit, with slender bodies; often times, they had darker ‘skin’ tone than the rest of the Demonwirks, but this wasn’t always the case.
King Hinghi – with a name meaning ‘Great’, given by his father, the former King – had skin that was smooth, like the shell of an insect, and was more of a dark, dark grey shade, bringing it to be partially lighter than most other Demonwirks’. He had hair that was a midnight blue – appearing black, but also evidently not – and went down his long neck, almost like that of a horse. Unlike most Demonwirks, royalty often wore clothing, and the King was no different. A long
Demar's Story - PrologueHave you ever heard of a Demonwirk? Have you ever seen one?
It’s not likely; but it’s quite possible that you have.
In the deep caves beneath the soil of the earth, their separate clans thrive, unbeknownst to any creatures above; any creatures whom aren’t their prey, that is (In this case, were you the ghost of their last dinner, I’m sure that you have in fact seen one for at least a short moment of their taunting, self-centered sneers that they caught you).
Of all the clans beneath us, there is one that is above all others – the name of the Chrysindile Clan was one that all creatures with knowledge of the Demonwirks existence would know and fear, for they are the highest of the clans. The rulers of the Demonwirks, whom at the snap of their sharp, sharp claws they could mend all clans into one deadly tribe. It was destined to happen, and it was well known. The world of Magics feared this day, and many of the wisest knew that it was coming soon; many
What a Name... (One-Shot)No one knew what his name meant.
All Demonwirk names had meaning… Dihnij meant ‘Loving’, just as Kahkei meant ‘Strong’. ‘Demar’ had no meaning; nothing that made sense.
The inscriptions on the wall told ‘Demar’ as many strange riddles.
‘Weak but heartless’.
‘Hatred without sentiment’.
‘Burning but flameless’.
‘Sin without reason’.
That was why he had received his name.
‘Sin without reason’.
A twisted leg meant weakness. A twisted leg at birth meant worse. A supposed heir to the Demonwirk clan born with a twisted leg had to be sin. And there was no reasoning as to why they were cursed with such a horrid sin. So he was forgotten. No wonder no one came looking for him. It was their fault that the humans had tainted him. Their fault. All their fault...
Demar stood over the bloody heap below him, still panting hard. His claws dripped with blood, but not the same blood th
ParaNorman One-Shot - Celebration“You’re a sourpuss, you know that?”
Ombre huffed, shaking his head. He was leaned against the doorframe, in his usual attire even though Sheera was wearing a longer dress than usual, which was strictly black. She wore black heels with it, different from her usual ones but still similar. Also, she wasn’t wearing her witch hat, for once. “I don’t like crowds. And, last time I checked, neither did you.” “C’mon!! I wanna give it a shot; besides, I wanna meet Normie’s little ‘girlfriend’.” Sheera teased the brunette even when he wasn’t there, and she almost wondered if he could sense it from his own home.
The town was celebrating the second year anniversary of when Norman had lifted Aggie’s dreaded curse on the town, by holding something similar to a festival in the center of town. There would be treats, souvenirs, dancing… And, of course, the whole town. Which meant a huge crowd of people in on
ParaNorman AU - Blind Sight - Prologue“What’s happening now?”
The familiar voice of Norman’s Grandmother rang through Norman’s ears, just above the screams and chomping noises in the direction of the television. Norman himself stayed in his spot just in front of the television, listening carefully for a moment before answering. “… The zombie’s… Eating her head?” he guessed. “You got it!” Grandma answered with a chuckle, continuing with her knitting from her spot on the couch. Norman let out his own chuckle, keeping his attention on the television’s sounds. “Norman…” he heard his dad groan out not too long after, along with the sound of the door to the kitchen squeaking open. “Didn’t I tell you to take out the garbage?” he wondered, his voice gruff and annoyed. “Yeah, coming dad!” Norman called back as he carefully got to his feet. He turned in the direction of the kitchen, which he had learned to
Ombre's Story - PrologueNever had there been a solar eclipse this dark before.
People on the streets of the small town carried around flashlights just to see in front of them, the streetlights barely making the town seem any brighter. Many people made up reasons for the darkness; that it was a punishment for something they had done, that it was an omen for something terrible to come… Of course, this happened to be the day that Sheila Nighthawk had her child.
Her husband, Charlie, was pacing outside of the bedroom impatiently. It was too dark out to drive, and rushing a woman who’s in the middle of having a baby to the hospital on foot isn’t exactly the best idea ever, so they had to do things the old-fashioned way and call someone over to deliver the baby at their own home. The man let out a long sigh of worry, running a hand through his light brown hair in an attempt to calm himself as he slowed to a stop, stealing a glance at the door once more. It had quieted down… Was it done? Wa
ParaNorman - Howling At The Moon - Chapter 7Lumarelle had suggested to everyone after the howl that they wait back at the hideout for the sun to come up, so someone wouldn’t see them change back to normal or anything. Norman, as worried as he was about Courtney or his parents finding out that he was gone, heeded her warning and stayed with the other werewolves for the remainder of the night. Once he saw sunlight leaking in from the entrance, however, he quickly bid farewell to everyone and rushed out. He hid in the trees for a short moment as he changed back to normal, slightly shocked that it didn’t hurt all that much. He hadn’t actually been awake while changing back before, and considering how much changing to his wolf form hurt, he was expecting a fair amount of pain for reverting as well. It still felt strange, of course. But he didn’t have time to ponder on this for long. He had to get back home. He rushed back as fast as he could, not actually all too shocked to see that he was a lot faster than he
ParaNorman - Alternate (Bad) EndingNorman Babcock didn’t know what to do. Here he was, at the town hall, protecting the same zombie puritans behind him that he had earlier thought were going to eat him – which, he recently learned, was in fact a mistake – from the angry mob that the town had created, everyone swinging torches and multiple household items that they were using as weapons around in the air, their angry screams completely droning out Norman’s protests. They didn’t understand… This was what the witch wanted.
“He’s in league with them!!”
“Let’s hang him!!”
“We can’t hang him, stupid! It’s the twenty-first century!”
“Then let’s BURN HIM!!”
Norman barely heard his mother yell at the crowd in annoyance (“Can you stop being a mob for just ONE MINUTE?!”) as he felt his fear bubble up. They couldn’t do this…! “Just listen to me!!” he begged desp
ParaNorman - Ghostly Universes - Chapter 3“This is bad… This can’t be happening…”
Ombre paced back and forth, biting his lip nervously, Demar and Courtney watching him with unimpressed expressions from the couch. Sheera was pacing as well, though Neil seemed to be handling the situation a little better. His panic and worry was clear as day on his face, but he had simply gone into a shocked silence, sitting next to Courtney and staring at the floor as he took in their newfound information the best he could. “You think it’s bad? Try living through it for three hundred years.” Demar groaned in response to Ombre’s rambling, his head lifting up slightly from where it had been resting on his clawed hand. “I can’t believe this… I-it’s just… Not like the Norman we know!!” Sheera exclaimed, rubbing the bridge of her nose in an attempt to calm the oncoming headache she was getting. “It’s not like the Norman we knew eit
Daddy...meet my Boyfriend.
Your second daughter, Christa, has decided to finally invite her boyfriend over for dinner. You're the only person that knew of your daughter's secret boyfriend and kept her secret from her over protective father and brothers.
"I'm just glad I get to meet this mystery man of yours, Chrissy. What's his name again." You asked as you poured the pasta into the strainer.
"Reiner. Mom...could you please keep your voice down"? Christa asked nervously. You knew she was afraid of her father over hearing her. And Levi's ears had more power than thirty bloodhounds put together.
"Oh, sorry sweetie. What time is supposed to be coming over"? You whispered.
"He should be arriving in ten minutes."
"Who should be arriving in ten minutes"? A deep and v
"Mom can you please stop taking photos? This is the third memory card that you've replaced since I put on the dress." Mikasa complained. You on the other hand was over joyed. Your oldest daughter Mikasa was getting ready for her magical prom night and soon preparing for her graduation. Christa was sitting on her big sister's bed just as happy as you were.
"Oh Mikki quit complaining! You are just absolutely beautiful!! Look at my baby!" You squealed. Mikasa couldn't help but smile at her overly happy mother.
"Oh! I remember when I went to my prom. I went three times though." You started.
"Three"? Christa asked dumbfounded.
"Well yeah. The first time I went with your uncle Mike because he's a weirdo and no one wanted to go with him. The second time I went with Mr. Springer....that I regret. And the last, Oh my! That was my prom night. My prom ni

Fifty years of a mortal's life
Would be but a fleeting moment
Contrast with the life of Geten
It is nothing but a very dream and illusion
But once they are given life from God
There is no such thing that do not perish
Unless we consider this very seed of awakening
It is a grievous truth indeed
That was the only way Jack was able to summarize his situation upon his arrival at Toketsu Castle.
The Tenshu (main castle tower) was three-stories high, and though small, demonstrates the design required of a castle during periods of war. Standing tall with the height of 164 shaku (164 ft), Jack realized it looked even magnificent up close. The stone walls with large moats and four layers turrets encircles the inner tower of plaster, especially built in order to prevent enemies' siege to scale the walls. But that wasn't what discouraged him the most—It was the size of the annexes and the gard

It was nightfall by the time the storm blew over. The streets of Rose township were slightly flooded with little debris from trees and garbage. Petra decided to spend the night and went home to get some clothes. As for you, of course you had to stay and watch Levi, whose fever was starting to let up a little bit. After that whole incident, you refused to look at him or even speak to him. Of course he was pissed off about it but he didn't let it show. He pretended not to care, which was a big mistake. He finished his second part of his experiment by seeing how you'd react if he did something that caught you by surprise, which was a big success. But the third and final step of his plan was interrupted by Petra. The third step would have concluded your feelings for him. Your acceptance of him. He was looking forward to tasting your lips. And hearing you moan his name as he kissed your flesh sent him over the edge. He was going to make you his ri
The Soul Keeper II: Ch. 23Chapter 23
“WHAT?!” Sky immediately jumped up, nearly shouting, “Do you know who took him? Where has he been taken? Ethan, tell me!”
“First, don’t grab me like that!” Ethan snarled, taking Sky’s hands off of his shoulders, “Second, calm down so we can think of a rescue plan.”
Sky winced as Ethan’s claws dug into his skin, pulling his hands back, “Uh, s-sorry… but Ty is my best friend, so of course I’d be worried about him.”
Ethan gave a curt nod, then crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall. He knew Adam and Ty’s friendship had lasted for years, probably more than what Sky had with him, though he had left for a certain amount of time before suddenly appearing out of the blue almost two years ago. For a time, he had been jealous of Ty, but that jealousy didn’t last long. He had reasoned that since he had someone who meant a lot to him, so
The Green Ribbon Part 3“Sarah? Sarah!” I called. I was in the halls and she was nowhere to be spotted, until I heard a sound of a hand dryer from the bathroom. I could also hear her voice complaining.
“God, what idiots!” She was talking about us, of course.
Wait a minute, this could be my chance! She must have removed the ribbon from her neck. All I had to do was open that door and see and her secret will be revealed. No. No way. That is a girl’s bathroom! Haven’t I been more creepy enough? All of a sudden the door opened and Sarah came out and saw me. She was still wearing that green ribbon around her neck and her dress was all dried up… well -ish. She stared at me with an angry glare.
“Where you spying on me?”
“Uhh… no… I just…”
“Ok what is your problem? What is wrong with you?”
“I’m guessing a lot of things. Look me and Derek, well mostly me, are really REALLY sorry. We’ll leave you alone
Jack Frost x Reader - First Impressions(Chapter 14)
Jack was shaking you gently, trying to wake you up.
“C’mon wake up!” he seemed to be very determined to wake you up.
You rolled over on your back. “What do you want?”
“It’s Easter and Bunnymund wants us all to go watch the kids look for eggs” Jack looked a little annoyed when he mentioned Bunnymund.
“Why? They are just going to be looking around, trying to find some weird colored eggs”
“You better be glad Bunnymund wasn’t here to hear you say that” Jack was holding back a laugh. “Just c’mon, this means a lot to him.”
“Fine, let me get changed then I’ll be ready.” You got up, grabbed some clothes and headed for the bathroom.
As you looked at yourself in the body length mirror, your eyes widened in shock. Just above the band on your underwear, there was a black circle about the size of a fist that had formed. The circle was on the spot where the arrow hit you.
CreepyPasta X Reader - PrologueNorth Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, 01:32 a.m.
A dark figure passed by the rows of dusty empty shelves and headed down to the library. The corridor the person was passing through was long, with a high ceiling. The whole building itself remained on some big ancient parliament. Even so, the figure seemed not to pay any attention to that, but kept its way on. The corridor was enveloped by an eerie silence. The long and tall window the person was passing by was letting bright moonlight tracks spread around the floor. The night sky was clear and starry, a mirrorizing image of the city bathing in the lights below.
The figure was swallowed by darkness as it entered the doorway which led straight to the beginning of spiral stairs. The stairs were twisting inwards like a spring, heading deeper and deeper into the darkness. But the figure did not threat of the silence and darkness. Instead, the other thoughts were bothering it. As it was heading deeper down the creaky sta
ParaNorman - A Witch's Curse - Preview"Neil, we've been going around for hours. It was probably just you're imagination getting the best of you!"
"N-no I definitely saw something!"
Norman rolled his eyes, groaning in annoyance as he continued to follow Neil around the forest. He had called Norman up frantically, claiming to have seen something near the forest that looked like something the Witch would conjure up. Though Norman had a feeling it was just something he had done with his new-found powers by accident, he didn't bother suggesting that to him. After all, that would've involved telling Neil about having the Witch's powers, and right now Norman didn't feel safe telling anyone yet. Not even his parents knew about it. The only person that did know was Courtney, but that was only because she was there when he found out about it. She had promised not to tell anyone as well, and so far she had kept that promise, which surprised Norman a little. After all, his sister was into gossip, but he didn't bother putting too

but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries

and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
