Imprisonation - PrologueVoices pounded and echoed around him, but everything was too blurry, ever-shifting, changing from dark to darker to a strange bright red shade.
“-and had made his vision clearer than any human could know. The sudden change back destroyed it completely; he’s lucky not to be blind.”
“Depth perception- Completely neutralized. Doctor, give mental stat-”
A loud buzzing invaded his mind and he gave a loud moan, gritting his teeth hard. He sensed the doctor’s eyes whip to his form, and he could actually feel them burning him with pure hatred and disgust.
“Please. Like he was ever stable in the first place.”
The pain was beginning to set in on him, and he felt it burning through his chest and stabbing his heart, and he actually gave a choked sob from the pain. The doctor didn’t seem to care.
“Medicate the freak. He’s going under special treatment.”
W-what? Special treatment? Wait, tell me what’s g
I Remember (HTTYD)I remember the warmth of the world
The rays of the sun against our skin
Heating the rocks to a cozy temperature
As we lay atop their surface
Pretending it was made just for us
I remember you rolling around in the grass
As I draw in the thick, coldening dirt
With the long branch in my hand
And I remember you wandering to my side
Soon creating your own maze of lines for me to cross
I remember you nudging my side to awaken me
Just as the moon rises into the sky
Reminding me of my promise to you
My lips curl into a toothy smile with my laughter
While you push me to my feet without patience
I remember the wind through my hair
Sensing your joy as we soar through the night
Above the clouds
Above the fear of everyday life
Knowing that neither of us have a care in the world
I don’t remember ever wishing for anything more
Lightning Dust - EpilogueFunny how laughter always seemed to attract the Clique.
Klaus, Andy and Kailey each froze at the sound of them approaching, turning to face them with raised brows.
“Oh, look…! We were right; Blondie does have brain-damage!” Katrine sneered, pointing at the white cloths that wrapped tight around Andy’s head. Though for the first while that he had the bandages they had been stained with his blood slightly, now it was only dotted, and even that was only visible on the bottom layer, having not seeped through even the first cloth all the way. He took a deep breath, wincing slightly when his head ached from the sudden fury bubbling up. Klaus and Kailey both huffed and turned away, Andy following their lead. Each of them continued to eat their lunches in silence, ignoring the snobs that remained next to their table.
Katrine snorted in agitation, fury in her eyes. “Uh, hello? You three deaf or something? I’m, like, TALKING!!
Lightning Dust - Chapter 16Another loud, agonized shout of pain exploded from James’s throat as he was slammed down into the ground, Josh’s claws already having sunk into him numerous times and shredded his lab coat, as well as his orange turtleneck underneath- not to mention skin itself, both from claws and scraping against the ground and debris from the walls. He was bruised, cut, bleeding, and quickly losing strength. He wouldn’t fight back, though; even if he had a chance against Josh while he was in this monstrous state, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.
He felt long, clawed fingers roughly grasp the back of collar of his turtleneck, and Josh pulled him up so forcefully that he began to cough up blood. With a sudden and swift shove down, James’s head was slammed back down into the dirt. He continued to cough, and Josh’s insane smile only grew. “How does THAT feel?!?!” he shouted down at him before lifting him up again, repeating the action
Lightning Dust - Chapter 14Lightning Dust had managed to shoot the Blood Scout down early on in the chase; much unlike it had gone with the Tornado. But he kept heading forward, remembering the agitating twisting and turning to get to the strange destination. There was no point in avoiding it. This was the second time that something had led him down this path, and that read higher than suspicious on his charts.
He landed down in front of the rickety structure with narrowed eyes, thinking hard. How do I get in there? The door was boarded shut, and busting through would likely set off some sort of alarm – and even if it didn’t, it’d easily announce his presence, if he wasn’t quiet about it. He carefully padded forward, examining the building closely for any alternate points of entry. With a deep sigh, his arms crossed and he huffed. “Well, this was absolutely pointless.” Everything was boarded and barricaded, and the only spaces available were spots that onl
Lightning Dust - Chapter 12Hours of searching for Crystal Eye proved no success, and Lightning Dust was beginning to believe that the super was hiding off somewhere. He had already checked by his house a few times to find that no one was home, and he must’ve lapped the town at least three, if not four times by now. “Oh, this is hopeless…” he moaned out, rolling his eyes to himself before setting down on one of the clouds to rest for a minute or two. He wasn’t certain that he would ever have thought flying to be exhausting, but low behold. Soon enough, he figured that perhaps it wasn’t the flying, so much as the searching that had tired him out. And, he was quick to conclude so; the searching, as well as the worrying, was most definitely the cause.
There were a few moments that he had to remind himself the time of day to avoid dozing off, eventually deciding to stop his relaxation and move on back to searching. Jumping up and off of the cloud, he instantly froze at the sight o
basiliskOnce there lived a basilisk.
He was lord over all the serpents not even the great sea serpents would challenge him for he bore in his blood a deadly poison. A single drop could soil any lake, poison all manner of beasts for miles around, cut down the grandest of forests, and drop the eagles from the skies. No beast dare enter his lair. None even drew close for fear of his poison blood, and his deadly stare, and for this reason Basilisk lord over all the serpents was lonely.
For years he wept his deadly tears under the shade of an old oak which quickly died from him being there. He mourned for all the beautiful creatures his breath had choked and pitied those who had watched their families fall to his deadly poison, for even drinking from a stream would draw the toxic infection from his lips, making the water undrinkable for anyone but himself.
He could not bear the thought of destroying so many lives so carelessly. He often asked himself, what calling would suit such a horrible creatur
Snowblind [JackFrostxReader] Pt.2
When you looked into the bright blue eyes of Jack Frost, you see how they sparkled mischievously, how they brightened up like the day sky when he thinks of the coming snow days, and how they are filled with laughter at past fun memories he had made with children. Jealousy? Psht! You by no means had time to feel jealousy of every winter he was off creating snow storms who-knows-where! But the silence that came with him being gone had become unbearable, and he never stayed at the Pole for full months at a time. It seemed it was always snowing in one place of the world or another. Yet, like he promised, he would always returned when you least expected it and caused your own personal flurry in whatever temporary room North had provided you with.
Tonight, however, he had not surprised you in bed, under warm cotton, covers because you had been in North’s office and your room had turned into a pool. Tonight, he had witness the changing of rooms, the many elves that fought to take severa
The Lives We Lead (PART 9)CHAPTER 9
Mikey watched as next to him Leo turned off the car. Leo’s entire body told Mikey that he didn’t want to be here. His eyes were downcast, his shoulders were slumped forward and his movements were slow as he turned to look out the window at the large church that the funeral was being held in. moving slowly, Mikey reached out to touch Leo’s arm, making Leo turn to look at him.
“hey……are you ok?”
Leo was silent for several moments before speaking.
“when I was a kind my mother used to tell me……..she wasn't very religious. She told me that the bible was a story; and that each person who read it could draw their own conclusions about it. she…….she had a favorite line; Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Leo broke off as small tears began to form in his eyes. But he forced them back, wiping them away before continuing.
Words Of Healing (PART 1)From his corner of the room Leatherhead watched them. he’d followed them to their lair, continuing to carry Mikey in the bundle of blankets. Once there he’d been led into a room, Donnie’s lab; where he’d lain Mikey out on a table for Donnie to examine. He growled at Donnie, as the purple turtle had moved to touch Mikey. It wasn't an aggressive growl but a warning….. And now he watched. His eyes taking in everything as Donnie examined Mikey’s leg and shell; Donnie’s face becoming more and more worried the long her examined them.
Donnie’s voice shook as he looked to his brothers who seemed to know just badly Mikey was injured. Leo stepped forward, putting his hand on Donnie’s shoulder.
“Tell us what to do Donnie. How can we help?”
Looking back at Mikey Donnie took a deep breath before speaking, giving his brother’s directions to gather the supplies he would need. Taking another de

Chapter:22 Olaf's Stomach Surprise
Emily fluttered over the scorched plains as Jewel and Elise trailed behind. The fairy huntress carefully examined the gravel and plucked a clump of black hair covered in frosty ooze. "It's Quinn's.", she declared.
"Oh, I hope she's alright.", worried Elise.
"Come on, girls.", laughed Jewel. "This is Quinn we're talking about. She's as tough as nails!"
Emily sighed, "I sure hope you're right. I've picked up her trail. Let's move."
Prince Michael trudged down the winding mountain paths. "I sure hope we're going the right way."
"Why don't you ask the mirror again?"
"Right!" Michael held up Belle's magic mirror. "Show me Queen El-" He was so busy looking at the mirror, he tripped on a stone and tumbled off the path! "Saaaaaaaaaa!"
Michael felt the mirror leave his hands as he rolled to screeching halt on the ground below. The prince slowly stood up, rubbing his sore spots. His heart stopped at the sight of where he'd landed. He stood in front of a tiny e
The Amber Room Mystery: Chapter 1Hannah Duffy pushed open the door to her room at the youth hostel. The 20-year-old redhead from Ireland was exhausted; the trek from the train station to the hostel had been longer than expected. She walked in, placed her backpack neatly on the floor at the foot of the nearest bed, and then collapsed on top of it.
A moment later, her traveling companion, 19-year-old Katrin Weber, stumbled into the room, and looked over the two remaining beds before plunking down on the one nearest the window. The blonde German girl wasted no time in slipping her feet out of the three-inch open-toed heels she had been wearing.
“Ugh,” she moaned, “my feet…are killing me…” She stretched her legs out, happy to give them a rest.
“I told you, Kat,” Hannah rebuked her, “that comfort is more important than fashion. But no, you never listen!” She slipped her hose-covered feet out of her blue sneakers. She reached dow

Chapter:20 A Date with Discord
The ocean's restless waves battered across the side of the ship. The sky darkened as powerful gusts of wind picked up. Hans remained steady at the wheel, keeping his eyes forward. The Duke of Weselton nervously gripped the side of the ship, doing his best to hold back his seasickness. He shuddered and ran inside after thunder boomed ferociously.
"Get back out here!", barked Hans. "We're almost to our destination."
The old man poked his head out of the captain' quarters. "I never should have trusted you. You're going to get us killed!"
"Feel free to take the wheel from me.", sneered Hans.
"I don't understand how this is part of your 'master plan'."
"NO ONE trusts you.", scoffed the duke.
"Your bodyguards do! And they should be halfway done with their mission by now!"
A rogue wave elevated the ship before fiercely bringing it down. Seawater nearly flooded the vessel as dozens of fish flopped across the deck. The duke emerged from the cabin comp

I had been running rather fast through a forest after being surprised by a giant python while drawing. It had been chasing me for some time. After about 10 minutes of chasing, I soon found that running from the python was futile and I stopped, catching my breath. The giant snake came into view behind me, panting.
“Hee-hee! Fast little one…ain't ya?” it giggled in a female voice.
I froze and turned, chuckling. “Yes, indeed.” I replied.
“What are you?” asked the python.
Confused, I looked down at myself. “Well, I was a human when I last looked. Heheheh!” I replied, holding the back of my neck.
“Oh, OK. Sorry ‘bout that, I’ve seen weird things in my life.” Said the python, slithering in close and licking my cheek.
I flinched a little, not really expecting the lick…but I thought it was rather cute.
ParaNorman - A Witch's Curse - Preview"Neil, we've been going around for hours. It was probably just you're imagination getting the best of you!"
"N-no I definitely saw something!"
Norman rolled his eyes, groaning in annoyance as he continued to follow Neil around the forest. He had called Norman up frantically, claiming to have seen something near the forest that looked like something the Witch would conjure up. Though Norman had a feeling it was just something he had done with his new-found powers by accident, he didn't bother suggesting that to him. After all, that would've involved telling Neil about having the Witch's powers, and right now Norman didn't feel safe telling anyone yet. Not even his parents knew about it. The only person that did know was Courtney, but that was only because she was there when he found out about it. She had promised not to tell anyone as well, and so far she had kept that promise, which surprised Norman a little. After all, his sister was into gossip, but he didn't bother putting too
