Imprisonation - PrologueVoices pounded and echoed around him, but everything was too blurry, ever-shifting, changing from dark to darker to a strange bright red shade.
“-and had made his vision clearer than any human could know. The sudden change back destroyed it completely; he’s lucky not to be blind.”
“Depth perception- Completely neutralized. Doctor, give mental stat-”
A loud buzzing invaded his mind and he gave a loud moan, gritting his teeth hard. He sensed the doctor’s eyes whip to his form, and he could actually feel them burning him with pure hatred and disgust.
“Please. Like he was ever stable in the first place.”
The pain was beginning to set in on him, and he felt it burning through his chest and stabbing his heart, and he actually gave a choked sob from the pain. The doctor didn’t seem to care.
“Medicate the freak. He’s going under special treatment.”
W-what? Special treatment? Wait, tell me what’s g
I Remember (HTTYD)I remember the warmth of the world
The rays of the sun against our skin
Heating the rocks to a cozy temperature
As we lay atop their surface
Pretending it was made just for us
I remember you rolling around in the grass
As I draw in the thick, coldening dirt
With the long branch in my hand
And I remember you wandering to my side
Soon creating your own maze of lines for me to cross
I remember you nudging my side to awaken me
Just as the moon rises into the sky
Reminding me of my promise to you
My lips curl into a toothy smile with my laughter
While you push me to my feet without patience
I remember the wind through my hair
Sensing your joy as we soar through the night
Above the clouds
Above the fear of everyday life
Knowing that neither of us have a care in the world
I don’t remember ever wishing for anything more
Lightning Dust - EpilogueFunny how laughter always seemed to attract the Clique.
Klaus, Andy and Kailey each froze at the sound of them approaching, turning to face them with raised brows.
“Oh, look…! We were right; Blondie does have brain-damage!” Katrine sneered, pointing at the white cloths that wrapped tight around Andy’s head. Though for the first while that he had the bandages they had been stained with his blood slightly, now it was only dotted, and even that was only visible on the bottom layer, having not seeped through even the first cloth all the way. He took a deep breath, wincing slightly when his head ached from the sudden fury bubbling up. Klaus and Kailey both huffed and turned away, Andy following their lead. Each of them continued to eat their lunches in silence, ignoring the snobs that remained next to their table.
Katrine snorted in agitation, fury in her eyes. “Uh, hello? You three deaf or something? I’m, like, TALKING!!
Lightning Dust - Chapter 16Another loud, agonized shout of pain exploded from James’s throat as he was slammed down into the ground, Josh’s claws already having sunk into him numerous times and shredded his lab coat, as well as his orange turtleneck underneath- not to mention skin itself, both from claws and scraping against the ground and debris from the walls. He was bruised, cut, bleeding, and quickly losing strength. He wouldn’t fight back, though; even if he had a chance against Josh while he was in this monstrous state, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.
He felt long, clawed fingers roughly grasp the back of collar of his turtleneck, and Josh pulled him up so forcefully that he began to cough up blood. With a sudden and swift shove down, James’s head was slammed back down into the dirt. He continued to cough, and Josh’s insane smile only grew. “How does THAT feel?!?!” he shouted down at him before lifting him up again, repeating the action
Lightning Dust - Chapter 14Lightning Dust had managed to shoot the Blood Scout down early on in the chase; much unlike it had gone with the Tornado. But he kept heading forward, remembering the agitating twisting and turning to get to the strange destination. There was no point in avoiding it. This was the second time that something had led him down this path, and that read higher than suspicious on his charts.
He landed down in front of the rickety structure with narrowed eyes, thinking hard. How do I get in there? The door was boarded shut, and busting through would likely set off some sort of alarm – and even if it didn’t, it’d easily announce his presence, if he wasn’t quiet about it. He carefully padded forward, examining the building closely for any alternate points of entry. With a deep sigh, his arms crossed and he huffed. “Well, this was absolutely pointless.” Everything was boarded and barricaded, and the only spaces available were spots that onl
Lightning Dust - Chapter 12Hours of searching for Crystal Eye proved no success, and Lightning Dust was beginning to believe that the super was hiding off somewhere. He had already checked by his house a few times to find that no one was home, and he must’ve lapped the town at least three, if not four times by now. “Oh, this is hopeless…” he moaned out, rolling his eyes to himself before setting down on one of the clouds to rest for a minute or two. He wasn’t certain that he would ever have thought flying to be exhausting, but low behold. Soon enough, he figured that perhaps it wasn’t the flying, so much as the searching that had tired him out. And, he was quick to conclude so; the searching, as well as the worrying, was most definitely the cause.
There were a few moments that he had to remind himself the time of day to avoid dozing off, eventually deciding to stop his relaxation and move on back to searching. Jumping up and off of the cloud, he instantly froze at the sight o
Latex MummyInside of an old museum, was a brand new exhibit which was focused on Egyptian Queen Hut Tut Sut, a queen that wasn't very popular due to the fact she loved latex. In the blazing heat of Egypt latex was the last thing anyone wanted to wear and it was her obsession with the stuff that brought down her rule in the end.
As the museum owner, a middle aged woman with strawberry blonde hair wearing a dark orange suit and dark tights walked up to the coffin that held the mummified form of Queen Hut Tut Sut, she was pleased her place was getting something new.
She was also interested to see if the Queen was wrapped up in latex bandages, usually the mummify bandage is usually cloth but seeing how the queen loved latex the thought was too great not to check out. Grinning she slowly slide the lid off the coffin under a full blue moon which something on the hieroglyphics warned not to and peered inside and became instantly ecstatic.
What she saw was proof enough, the mummy was indeed wrapped up in
Words In The Rain
Donnie watched Mikey silently pulled on his rain boots and coat; while Donnie did the same. Everyone else had long since fallen asleep but not him and Mikey. They’d both lain awake in their bed, occasionally poking the other to make sure they were still awake. Only when the gentle sounds of their father’s snores reached their ears did they know they were safe to move. Slowly they’d gotten out of bed before silently pulling on their boots and coats while doing their best not to wake their brother’s or father. In front of him Donnie watched as Mikey struggled to do up the buttons in his coat. Giggling slightly Donnie pushed his little brother’s fingers out of the way and did the buttons for him; snapping them into place before buttoning up his own jackets before grinning at Mikey.
Mikey grinned back at him and nodded “yeah!”
A second later the 6 year old turtle clasped his hands over his mouth, his eyes going wide in fear tha

Mike was cleaning the camera lens for the fourth time that evening when Mr. Prez walked in red faced.
“Still no answer?” Mike asked.
Mr. Prez clenched his phone with rage. “Still no answer.” He said pinching his nose. He looked around the room. All the equipment was set up; the lights, the camera, the props. Everything was in place for the photo shoot except the thing they were shooting.
“I can't believe she did this again. How does she expect to make to make it in this industry if she is always late or a no show?” Mr. Prez said with his head pointed toward the ceiling.
“Maybe she just got caught up? Mike said putting the camera down.
“Oh please I'm tired of her excuses, it's always something.” Mr. Prez looked down at his watch. “Oh we're running out of time and I need these pictures for the spread next week. I can't have another late entry, the outlet will never forgive me.”
Mr. Prez started pacing back and forth.
Roana Hood: An alerntive Robin Hood Chapter 1It started with a stormy night. The rain lashed relentlessly against the windows while lightning shock the ground and thunder filled the air. In a little house on the outskirts of the village, close to the forest, were 2 young children huddled in the corner near the fireplace to hide from the frightening monsters that haunted the air and threatened to steal them from their kind old grandmother, who was sitting in her rocking chair, smiling at her grandchildren's fear of the natural weather.
"Come on children, the thunder and lightning will not harm you. It is merely God moving his furniture around." the grandmother told her children, trying to take their minds off of the frequent storms that had hit their homeland for the past few weeks. "Well he's been changing his mind a lot them hasn't he?" said the older one, a boy called Simon, retorted. His younger sister, called Emily, giggled at his joke while their grandmother laughed along. She smiled at him and laughed again when his frown w

Breakfast was an odd affair. All around them patrons of the diner eat and chatting; seemingly without a care in the world. In front of him Mikey watched as Leo stirred his oatmeal absentmindedly. He’d been doing that for several minutes now, pushing the slushy grains around without actually eating any of them. Mikey himself had practically inhaled the waffle, eggs, and hashbrowns that he had ordered. Now he sat watching as Leo continued to stir his food, a look of reserved fear flickering across his face. “Leo…..” Mikey kept his voice soft so as not to startle Leo; but also so as not to let anyone else here him. Leo looked up at him, his eyes that of someone who was scared and confused. “I’m……..I’m not hungry.” Leo pushed the bowl away
A Place in this World [Older!JamiexReader] Pt.01
It was raining when you had arrived in Burgess, the drops hitting the windshield repeatedly until a rhythm could be heard. It held no resemblance to the water droplets you had heard back home, because, of course, you were inside a car and the water back home had never actually struck any window because of the house layout. Also, you had never actually taken the time to look at the falling rain; once when you had checked how many inches of water it had rained, you had simply placed a cylinder out in the lawn, but didn’t bother to see it fill up. Now, with absolutely nothing to do, your eyes had been glued to the scenery and then to the rain that broke from the clouds above.
The weather helped your current mood in nothing, serving only to drag you into a more depressing state than you had already been. It was dark and gloomy and wet and, much to your utter shock, actually cold. You had once or twice peeked over at Jamie, but he had only given you a smile, which you didn’t ret
Medved' Beis II- Chapter 9Ruyak glanced around at the panicking villagers, himself torn between amusement and pity. He raised an eyebrow at a man with a small cartload of jarred fruits as a few of his stock bounced out and began rolling away in different directions over the mud. At first the merchant scrambled to recapture the runaways, then he seemed to rethink his priorities and ended up abandoning the whole cart.
“Standing around like this seems… counter-productive,” Ruyak said, his face twisted between a concerned frown and an entertained smirk as the man ran away.
“That depends on what we’re trying to accomplish.”
“Well, I was rather hoping to make a point," Kaelin replied slowly from her perch on top of Ruyak's shoulders, “but I wasn’t expecting this much hysteria. I thought most people would still be in their houses.”
Suddenly a small child ran out into the middle of the chaos, looking frightened and confused. She stopped

'Great,' You furrowed your brow in utter exasperation, glaring angrily at the principal's desk, barely paying any attention to what he was saying.
'This is just what I needed... Yep.' You crossed your arms and leaned back into the wooden "Discipline Chair", rolling your eyes.
"I'm going to let this slide for today, Ms. (Y/N). But only because you're new to this school, and we want you to have a pleasant learning experience while here. But you had better straighten up, and I expect that you won't let this happen again, correct?" He leaned forward in his chair, tipping his glasses down, waiting expectantly for your reply.
"...Yeah, sure... Of course, Mr. Principal, sir."
"Yes," He spun around in his chair, his back now facing you. "But just to make sure there aren't any 'misunderstandings', I will be sending a note home with you." This caught your attention.
Volunteer (Part 6d: Twist)I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, though I get a little unsettled when I realize the costume the magician is changing me into is pretty close to the one from that horrible dream. I start to wish I'd asked Julia about it, even if it was nothing, but obviously it's a bit late for that now.
I try to push it aside, though, and focus on playing my role for the audience. The reactions of the crowd and the much more involved give-and-take make it feel ten times as exciting as that first time in the club. I start to wonder if it would be legitimately possible to give up my job and just make a living doing performances like this.
When he makes the final change, I can't see what he's done, but I can feel the heavier makeup on my face and the pigtails, and by awkwardly twisting my arm around, my fingers are able to brush over a thick cylindrical shape protruding from my back.
ParaNorman - A Witch's Curse - Preview"Neil, we've been going around for hours. It was probably just you're imagination getting the best of you!"
"N-no I definitely saw something!"
Norman rolled his eyes, groaning in annoyance as he continued to follow Neil around the forest. He had called Norman up frantically, claiming to have seen something near the forest that looked like something the Witch would conjure up. Though Norman had a feeling it was just something he had done with his new-found powers by accident, he didn't bother suggesting that to him. After all, that would've involved telling Neil about having the Witch's powers, and right now Norman didn't feel safe telling anyone yet. Not even his parents knew about it. The only person that did know was Courtney, but that was only because she was there when he found out about it. She had promised not to tell anyone as well, and so far she had kept that promise, which surprised Norman a little. After all, his sister was into gossip, but he didn't bother putting too
