Siding With The Enemy

"Must I remind you, you infernal child?" Dan hissed out with a cruel laugh that echoed around the empty space, causing the younger ghost teen to flinch slightly, his furious expression faltering to one of worry for a moment. The monster's wide smile grew further. "This child... This empty vessel that you call your 'friend' is a ticking time-bomb!!" he screamed menacingly. Danny's eyes went to Norman's glowing green eyes. In response, the medium's eyes narrowed further and he snarled. Dan shook his head with another dark chuckle. "I'm just here to make sure that that bomb goes off exactly when it's supposed to..."

So I was making a ton of crossover episodes for DP/PN last night, and I made one up that I'm not gonna go into too much cuz it's not really related to this pic. The main villain in the episode (or episodes, considering I had multiple parts to it) was Vlad, and I was originally gonna make this a pic with Norm and Vlad instead. But when I went to find some reference for Vlad (cuz I didn't wanna screw anything up by accident, I've never drawn the guy before after all), stuff came up for Dan too, for whatever reason. AND THEN. A new episode idea came to my head. And thus, this beautiful, drama-filled plotline and picture was born, and I LOVE IT.
And it even works, too! Think about it: It made it look like Dan was gonna come back, didn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe I remember him ever actually returning after that, considering the fact that the series ended. So, what if he finally came back, wanting revenge on his past self for ruining what could've been his 'perfect' future? He convinces, tricks, or maybe does some kind of hypnosis thing on Norm so that he'll be on his side (still trying to decide which, cuz I have a few ideas for each at the moment... I'm currently trying to see if I can combine them all somehow, and it's actually going pretty well), therefore getting to Danny emotionally as well. After all, I'm sure Dan would want the ghost teen to suffer as much as possible

(Also I apologize if I'm not exactly portraying Dan's character well; this is pretty much my first time experimenting with him, heh )
